What LabelPress is
LabelPress is a Shopify app that prints barcode and shelf labels. It is operated by the LabelPress developer (see the support page for contact details). This policy explains what data the app touches when a merchant installs it.
Data we access
- Products and variants (titles, SKUs, barcodes, prices, images) so they can be printed on labels. Read-only.
- Inventory levels and locations, only when a merchant uses “Match stock at location” to set label quantities. Read-only.
- Shop details: store name, domain, currency, money format, and plan type, to format prices and to decide whether billing runs in test mode.
Data we store
- An access token for the store, so the app can read products while installed.
- Print queues, print history and the label data snapshotted into them.
- Label templates the merchant creates.
- Generated PDF files, so they can be downloaded again from history.
- A count of labels printed per month, for the Free plan limit.
LabelPress does not access, store, or process customer personal data (names, addresses, orders, or payment details). It never sells or shares data with third parties. Data is stored on servers operated by our hosting provider and is encrypted in transit.
When you uninstall
Shopify sends LabelPress an uninstall notice and, 48 hours later, a shop-redact request. The app deletes the access token immediately and deletes all remaining store data (queues, history, templates, PDFs, usage counts) on the redact request.
Compliance webhooks
LabelPress implements Shopify’s mandatory customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks. Because the app holds no customer data, customer requests are acknowledged and logged with nothing to return or erase.
